Mile7 Transportation Solutions LLC - Transportation Terms

These Transportation Terms apply to transportation services confirmed by Mile7 Transportation Solutions LLC ("Mile7," "we," "us," or "our") when these Terms are incorporated into or provided with a quote, confirmation, email, text message, invoice, recurring arrangement, or other service communication.

They are separate from the Terms of Use that govern the Mile7 website. Submitting a transportation request does not, by itself, confirm a ride. Transportation is confirmed only when Mile7 accepts the request or otherwise agrees to provide the service.

1. Customer, Passenger, and Booking Party

The Customer is generally the person or organization that contracts with Mile7, unless the applicable service arrangement states otherwise. The Passenger is the person receiving transportation. The Booking Party is the person or organization arranging the transportation. These may be different people or entities.

The Customer is responsible for the obligations associated with the confirmed transportation, including payment, unless Mile7 expressly agrees otherwise.

A person arranging transportation for another Passenger represents that they have appropriate authority to make the arrangement and provide the information reasonably necessary for the trip.

2. Confirmation and Service Details

A transportation request becomes a confirmed service only after Mile7 communicates acceptance or otherwise agrees to provide the transportation.

The confirmed arrangement may include the pickup and destination, date and time, Passenger count, assistance needs, vehicle arrangements, price, payment responsibility, and any other service-specific details.

If a separate written agreement, corporate arrangement, recurring-service agreement, or other service-specific terms apply, those terms control to the extent they conflict with these general Transportation Terms.

3. Pricing and Payment

The Customer is responsible for paying the price and other charges that Mile7 discloses as part of the confirmed transportation arrangement.

Mile7 will not impose a cancellation, no-show, waiting-time, cleaning, damage, toll, parking, or other additional charge unless the charge is disclosed in advance, included in the applicable service arrangement, or arises from a circumstance for which the Customer or Passenger is responsible and the charge is permitted by law.

Payment timing and method will be communicated as part of the applicable service arrangement.

4. Changes, Cancellations, and No-Shows

Please notify Mile7 as soon as reasonably possible if a confirmed trip needs to be changed or cancelled.

A requested change is not effective until Mile7 confirms that it can accommodate the change. Changes to pickup time, pickup location, destination, Passenger count, assistance requirements, or other material trip details may affect availability or price.

Any cancellation or no-show fee will apply only if Mile7 disclosed the fee before confirmation or the fee is part of an applicable written service arrangement.

5. Pickup, Timing, and Delays

Mile7 will make reasonable efforts to provide transportation according to the confirmed schedule. Travel and arrival times may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, construction, vehicle issues, Passenger readiness, security restrictions, emergencies, or other circumstances outside Mile7's reasonable control.

Passengers should be ready at the confirmed pickup location at the agreed time and should promptly communicate any material change that may affect the trip.

Unless Mile7 expressly guarantees a particular timing commitment in writing, quoted pickup or arrival times are service targets rather than guarantees.

6. Passenger Safety and Conduct

Passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions from the driver and comply with applicable seat-belt, child-restraint, and other transportation-safety requirements.

Mile7 may decline to begin or may discontinue transportation when reasonably necessary because of:

  • Violence, threats, harassment, dangerous conduct, or unlawful activity.

  • Conduct that materially interferes with safe vehicle operation.

  • A Passenger's refusal to comply with a legally required safety restraint or reasonable safety instruction.

  • A condition that makes the requested transportation unsafe or unlawful to perform as arranged.

Mile7 will not refuse or limit service on an unlawful discriminatory basis. Where applicable, requests for reasonable transportation-related accommodations will be considered in accordance with law and operational safety.

7. Minors

Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, caregiver, or other appropriate authorized adult.

The Booking Party must tell Mile7 in advance when a child passenger will travel and must provide accurate information about any required car seat or booster seat.

Children must use the child passenger restraint required by applicable law. Mile7 may decline to begin the trip if the required restraint is not available or cannot be used safely.

8. Accessibility and Service Animals

Mile7 is committed to providing transportation without unlawful discrimination. Passengers or Booking Parties should communicate mobility, accessibility, or other transportation-related assistance needs when arranging the trip so Mile7 can confirm an appropriate service arrangement.

Service animals are accommodated as required by applicable law. The Passenger or handler remains responsible for the care and control of the animal.

9. Personal Belongings

Passengers should keep personal belongings with them and notify Mile7 in advance about unusually large, heavy, fragile, or specialized items that may affect the transportation arrangement.

Mile7 will make reasonable efforts to assist with lost-property inquiries but cannot guarantee recovery of items left in or around a vehicle. Nothing in this section limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Damage and Cleaning

The Customer may be responsible for reasonable cleaning or repair costs resulting from unusual damage, excessive soiling, or other loss caused by the Customer, Passenger, or accompanying person, provided the charge is documented, reasonable, and permitted by applicable law.

Ordinary wear, routine cleaning, and circumstances not caused by the Customer or Passenger are not chargeable under this section.

11. Non-Emergency Transportation

Mile7 provides passenger transportation and does not provide emergency medical response or ambulance services.

If a Passenger is experiencing a medical or other emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service rather than relying on a Mile7 transportation request.

Transportation-related assistance does not constitute diagnosis, treatment, medical monitoring, or other clinical care.

12. Vehicle Technology and Privacy

Mile7 vehicles may use video, GPS, telematics, and related technology for safety, security, service verification, claims, fleet management, and operational purposes.

Mile7 handles personal and trip-related information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.

13. Service Interruptions and Circumstances Outside Mile7's Control

Mile7 may modify, delay, substitute, or cancel transportation when reasonably necessary because of safety concerns, weather, road closures, vehicle failure, emergencies, government restrictions, or other circumstances outside Mile7's reasonable control.

When practicable, Mile7 will communicate material service changes and work with the Customer or Booking Party on reasonable next steps.

14. Responsibility and Legal Rights

Mile7 does not exclude responsibility that applicable law does not permit it to exclude. Any limitation of responsibility under these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms do not waive any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived. Mile7's goal is to state service expectations clearly rather than rely on broad or hidden disclaimers.

15. Electronic Communications and Acceptance

Transportation arrangements may be confirmed through email, text message, telephone, electronic records, written agreements, or other communications used by Mile7 and the Customer.

Where these Terms are provided or incorporated into a confirmed transportation arrangement, the Customer's acceptance of the confirmed service, electronic acknowledgment where used, or use of the confirmed transportation may evidence agreement to the applicable terms, subject to applicable law.

16. Governing Law

These Transportation Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, except where another applicable law must govern a particular trip or where rights cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

17. Changes to These Terms

Mile7 may update these Transportation Terms as its services, operations, or legal requirements change. The version applicable to a particular confirmed transportation arrangement will be the version provided, incorporated, or otherwise made applicable to that arrangement.
